Thomas Espeland

Thomas became Vice President for Asia Pacific in September 2018, after coming from Baker Hughes in Australia.

Thomas has over 20 years of experience from academia to industry. He started his career as a lecturer at Curtin University of Technology and taught strategy and Cultural communications and Negotiations in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Thomas then moved into Business analytics and project management and worked within several large projects including the Wheatstone LNG Terminal in Western Australia. He then met the love of his life which brought him to Norway and Sevan Marine, where he took upon the role as Region Business Development Manager working withing the FPSO market and business development in the APAC Region.  He then moved on as APAC Director of Advantec Group and set up their Australian division before being part of the sale of Advantec to GE Oil&Gas later Baker Hughes.
