Thomas became Managing Partner Business Development in January 2018, after serving as Chief Executive Officer for 6 years.

Thomas has 25 years of industry experience and is a Co-Founder of E Plug. He began his career with Baker Hughes, working in various operational positions offshore, before joining Peak Well Solutions in 2004. At Peak Well Solutions, he contributed to Sales and Business Development, helping to commercialize their barrier plug technology. Thomas then moved to Equinor, where he served as a Senior Well Engineer and Well Supervisor offshore. As a Co-Founder of E Plug, he has been instrumental in developing and commercializing the E Plug technology. Mr. Bergan Johansen holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Stavanger.
